Numol stoneware bottle or jar - a lovely 1920's glazed buff-coloured stoneware jar

Reads in black text on one side:

Considered a piece of throwaway packaging at the time, this was dug from an old Victorian dump. However, considering its history, the pot is in remarkable condition, no chips, cracks or crazing, a few nibbles around the rim is the only flaw.
