Antique French WW1 Colmont Paris Compact Field Binoculars

Pair of antique French Colmont Paris World War One era compact field binoculars, made from metal with a leather covering where you hold them in your hands.

They are rather battered as you can see! One eyepiece surround has a dent, chipped paintwork, one section of leather is coming unstitched

The wheel to extend the viewfinder in and out still operates and they are still very useable to bring distance closer
