Antique J. Sainsbury Bloater Paste (Fish Paste) Pot – Charming English Kitchenalia
Step into the past with this delightful antique J. Sainsbury potted fish pot, a rare piece of early 20th-century English advertising. Dating back to around 1910, these pots were originally designed to store potted smoked fish for the iconic English grocer J. Sainsbury. Meant to be disposable, the surviving examples are now treasured as charming collectibles and decorative accents.
This particular pot is in good condition, it exudes rustic charm and makes a lovely addition to any vintage-inspired kitchen or collection.

Approximate Measurements: 7.5cms high, 6.5cms diameter
Condition:
Good condition - no cracks, extensive crazing and some age staining
