Antique Japanese Satsuma Eggshell Porcelain Set of Six Hand Painted Tea Cups and Saucers

Dating from the early 20th century, this delightful Japanese satsuma set of six hand painted tea cups and saucers are truly enchanting

As you can see from the photos, the porcelain is almost translucent it is so fine. Some of th edges of the teacups are a little uneven, denoting they are handmade

All beautifully hand painted with gilt accenting

One of the saucers has a crack, as shown, all others in fantastic condition for their age

Cups measure 6.2cms high and rim is 5.6cms diameter
Saucers measure 12.3cms diameter and are 1.7cms high
