Antique Victorian Cast Iron Fire Bar Stove Trivet / Kettle or Pot Warmer Stand

Victorian cast iron fire bar trivet with lovely scroll ornate detail in the form of an expanded fleur de lys.

It would have been attached to a parlour fireside or fender for heating a kettle or pot.

It will not lay flat on a surface so is NOT suitable as the sort of trivet used on a kitchen counter for pots and pans unless it is adapted by screwing to a wooden base for example. Perfect as an attractive display for your kitchen dresser though, as you can see it does stand up on its own
