Edwardian Aneroid Barometer in Hexagonal Oak Frame – Possibly German

A beautiful Edwardian aneroid barometer, possibly of German origin, housed in a striking hexagonal oak frame with fine beading detail around the edge — a true statement piece for any vintage or antique interior.

✨ Design Features:

Hexagonal oak frame with elegant beaded detailing.
Steel back marked "S100", adding to its authenticity.
Classic dial face with two needles — one adjustable via a small wheel on the front to mark previous readings.
Marked with Germanic style script: Stormy – Rain – Change – Fair – Very Dry, giving it distinctive continental charm.

✨ Condition:

In good antique condition, with light signs of age and wear as expected (see photos). Some of the decorative beading is missing. The steel frame to the glass is rusted in places.
A wonderful decorative and functional piece, though working condition has not been tested, so sold as a decorative item. The weather has not changed since I obtained this, so I am unsure if it works! I have moved the needle to the current reading, I will keep you posted!
