Six Antique Georgian Silver Dinner Forks from 1818 Made in London by William Eley and William Fearn / Fiddle Design with Monogram
Set of six Georgian solid silver dinner forks by William Eley & William Fearn in the traditional English Fiddle design
Five are stamped with the C for 1818, with the lion passant for silver and the London assay office crowned leopard's head, along with the King George III duty mark, with the letters WEWF for the makers
All monogrammed to the reverse of the handle
One of the six is exactly the same design and monogram, but made later with an "h" year stamp for 1823 and the maker is WC for William Chawner, a partner of Eley and Fearn
Please study the photos as they form an important part of the description of our vintage items - there is some tarnishing and wear to the prongs as well
