Twinings Coronation souvenir tea caddy depicting Prince Philip and Queen Elizabeth II. It is decorated with a double portrait of the couple - the Queen wears a blue dress and tiara, Prince Philip is in naval mess dress. The other sides show Windsor Castle and Buckingham Palace. Inscribed on the lid: 'Coronation Souvenir HM Queen Elizabeth June 1953'.

Label to the base for R Twining & Co Ltd, EST 1706, 1/2 lb Nett Weight, Fine Indian and Ceylon Blend

Lid is rusted and base has rust spots, as do the sides. Someone has drawn a light moustache on Prince Philip on one side and also the initials ESR on the side with Windsor Castle

Measures 10.5cms high, 10.5cms wide and 7.5cms deep
