Victorian ironstone patent ointment pots, dating to circa 1900, wonderful example of antique English apothecary ware. Originally used for storing medicinal ointments, these lidded pots feature a classic ironstone design with historical charm.

POT 1: Extensive staining and crazing to the base, with a chip to the base and rim, the lid is not stained or crazed and may be a marriage as it moves around on the base and is slightly larger. Measures 4cms high and base is 6.5cms diameter

POT 2: Has the number 306 impressed to the base nibbles to the rim, wear to the base and a chip either side of the sides of the lid. No crazing or staining. Measures 9.5cms diameter and 5.4cms high

POT 3: In very good condition, a few tea stain spots to the inside rim of the base. The lid is very slightly smaller than the base and moves slightly, so may be a marriage. Measures 4.5cms high and 10cms diameter
