Vintage c1950s French L'IDEALE 500ml Storage Preserving Pickling Jar / Heavy Green Glass / Metal Close Tabs / Rubber Seal

A lovely traditional blue green charming rustic French glass preserve jar

The brand 'L'Idéale is in relief on the lid of the jar. The lid is held on with a metal clasp (some corrosion and rust showing on the metal. It opens and closes tightly and has an intact orange rubber seal, which may be a replacement.

Originally used for preserving fruit and vegetables.

The old glass is lovely with only a few light scratches.

Measures: 12cm tall and 9cm diameter at the base.

Perfect for use for storage or pretty vintage decoration.
