SOLD OUT Vintage Denby Heart of England Shakespeare Mug

Vintage Denby Heart of England stoneware mug featuring English Historical images - Shakespeare, Coventry Cathedral, Ironbridge, Goodrich Castle and Gladstone Pottery.

The blue and brown images against the cream matt glaze background of the mug really makes the coloured designs on both sides of the mug “pop”.

Denby made a range of mugs in this design featuring English sights of interest. The design is retired, so increasingly hard to find.

The mug measures 9.25 cm (3 3/4 in) high and the rim diameter is 8.25 cm (3 ¼ in). It holds 300 ml (10 fl oz)

The base stamp has information on this Heart of England Denby mug and says “Denby, Made in England”.

Excellent condition with no chips, cracks, crazing or obvious scratches. There may be slight surface scratching, or wear consistent with normal use as this is a pre loved item.
