Wall Hanging French Religious Icon / Vintage Metal Christ Crucifix on Wooden Board Backing / Jesus on the Cross

Here we have a vintage hollow moulded metal Christ on the cross, I think he is made from tin, it is hard to tell and I am not a metal expert! He is mounted on a dark stained rustic wooden panel with a hook on the back for hanging

The right arm of Christ has become detached where an old repair has come unglued, but it only moves a small fraction and could be reglued if desired. Only noticeable close up. Lots of tarnishing which adds to its vintage appeal

A very impactful piece and very well detailed in the moulding

We bought this in France, but there are no makers' marks
